Fact-checking
I’ve fact-checked news stories, narrative features, profiles, and in-depth reports for ScienceAlert and MIT Technology Review. In 2021, I completed the MIT Knight Science Journalism Fact-Checking Workshop, which covered best practices for fact-checking online news and print features.
Checking every fact, source and sliver of detail — including details or perspectives that a story may have overlooked or left out — is what I do to ensure a piece is watertight.
