Events

From working in science research labs to jumping into journalism, my career has taken a few surprising turns. Based on this experience, I’ve moderated panels as part of National Science Week and spoken at events about career pathways in science, drawing on my interview skills and sharing personal insights to engage audiences.

If you’re looking for someone who is going to dive deep into a subject, Clare Watson is the facilitator you’re looking for. Passionate about asking insightful (and entertaining) questions, her wildly charming way with words made my book tour event at Wollongong Library so much fun and a true fan favourite.

Clare’s ability to guide the conversation to match the interests of our audience of high school students was fantastic. As an event organiser, I appreciated how much thought and effort she put into setting the scene and stimulating discussion.
